I’m an architect that really likes photography. I’ve been messing around with cameras since I was very young. My parents gave me a tiny spy looking camera when I was little and I played spy with it all the time. It had film in it, but I had no idea what to do with the film so it eventually disappeared. I got my first 35mm SLR camera in 1974. I took a couple of semesters of photography in college and learned what the film is for. Well, I at least learned there were lots of things a person could do with film and photo paper.
For Christmas in 2009 I got my first digital SLR camera. My family gives me a bad time because they think Santa and I have a lot in common. Since I’ve been into digital and computer things as well as photography this was, to me anyway, a marriage made in heaven. Some of the pictures I post here were taken on film, but most of them were digitally captured.
From Wikipedia: Photography is the art, science and practice of creating durable images by recording light or other electromagnetic radiation, either chemically by means of a light-sensitive material such as photographic film, or electronically by means of an image sensor.
By the way if you would like to use a photo feel free to, just give credit where credit is due. If you want a copy or print of one let me know and I’ll get you a nice high quality (fine art) print. I can even frame it for you if you would like (custom of course).
